So they won’t. One thing that is consistent in every debate: debate moderators are shit.
“Good evening, I’m tonight’s moderator, Chris Wallace. And I think I’m going to do a really, really good job tonight.”
If they were competent then neither party would agree to the debate.
I read this article and I’d advise against it. All the author does is write about a bunch of facts that are all obviously true, without tying them together or saying anything interesting.
- cognitive tests work
- both candidates have declined to have cognitive tests
- debates are mentally taxing
- candidates are going to have to perform live.
- the audience will judge the performance
- the moderators will affect this.
