That’s most cases but I did have an employee whose ex would file non payment of child support on Friday so he would be jailed until Monday when the clerk was back in the office and verify that yes he paid his child support.

If you owe $2,500 or more in child support, you are not eligible to receive a U.S. passport. Pay your child support arrears to the appropriate state child support enforcement agency before applying for your passport.
