Abdul Qadeer Khan’s network fueled both Pakistan’s, and multiple other countries nuclear ambitions. Pakistan deffo has nukes, and very likely helped Iran and North Korea on their path to the same.

I dislike his odds too, but if Joe isn’t bowing out, the only option left is a really ugly infight at the convention that miiiight lead to superdelegates coming into play if there’s a contested primary and the first round doesn’t deliver a clear nomination for Joe.
Biden is too deep on his own “comeback kid” narrative to step down now that the donor class (mostly) got back in line, and the party apparatus sees the reality on the wall. There’s nobody but Joe, unless he wants there to be someone else, and “the lord almighty” hasn’t weighed in on his candidacy yet.
I just really, really hope that this doesn’t affect downticket races and deliver a divided government in a Biden win, or a Republican majority otherwise. The Senate is a 19:11 seat Rep:Dem contest this cycle, and the rest are tossups.
Agreed. But it gets real hard really fast to convince people that Biden is the only real choice, when your argument becomes “Not Trump”.
If this was the first time this had happened, it could potentially be played off “He’s campaigning hard and worn down” “There was an unexpected interaction with his prescriptions that caused it”
The reporters sensed it instantly. Even though the 90-minute debate was only seconds old, they felt it was already over… He had not been warm. He had not been likable. He had not shown emotion. He had merely shown principle.
In 1988 Michael Dukakis had his campaign torpedoed by poor debate performance when asked ambushed with a hard gotcha question.
Another candidate might have survived that first question and answer. But not Dukakis. It devastated him because his coldness was already an issue.
And it is the same with Biden. The biggest anxiety of both his supporters and haters was demonstrated on national television. How do I defend that when arguing with people about who to vote for in the election?
This copypasta is a cute summary, but it literally means nothing when over 40% of voters are dead locked for Biden and Trump each. The mission isn’t convincing the progressive wing that he’s got left bonafides, the mission is slice off as many undeclared and moderates - who just now really started paying attention… and saw that performance.
Trump looked like an asshole who dodged questions and was hiding the truth, but he had energy and was lucid
Look at the timing - Jan 20th, 2021. The day Biden was sworn in.
$15 is not much and could very well be him delivering on a bet over the election
