I definitely disagree with this take but I think I see where you’re coming from. The sequel trilogy was a mess and I think that’s being quite generous but we wouldn’t have gotten something like Andor under Lucas I don’t think.
Movies bombed so hard they gave up on cinema releases completely. I don’t know how the shows are doing, never bothered when I realised the direction they were taking.
Star Wars has never been better.
In fact taking it out of George Lucas’s control is for the best.
