That’s funny, but they’re literally living a different life than us. Biden gets the best government-paid care possible while Trump uses his scammed billions to give him every luxury he doesn’t deserve.

If I look in a septic tank, and it’s full of shit… No one cares.

But if someone takes one little shit on the boss’ desk, people want to talk about it for years.

This is why people talk about Biden’s missteps more than Trump’s. We know trump is a giant piece of shit, literally, it’s trump’s third election in a row, he’s only been out of office 4 years, everyone knows who trump is.

But the entire point of Biden, is supposed to be that he’s not trump.

So why should we excuse their similarities?

You’re always trying to say they are the same.

He says in the comments section of an article that was posted to justify overlooking Biden’s debate performance because Trump has similar evidence of cognitive decline.

“You’re just saying both candidates are the same!” to all criticism from the left is inconsistent with “Biden’s fine! See, both candidates are the same.”

This is Biden’s 6th presidential election run (Source, and he has been a confirmed liar since at least 1988 Source, long time racist (Source). I do not understand how people can say Biden is their “hold their nose” choice, especially when my choice Chase Oliver (Info) is nowhere as problematic and actually wants change, we have a chance to change the system, especially since I know few people personally that support Biden or Trump (and those few who do support a candidate usually support Trump, haven’t met a Biden supporter that didn’t have a multitude of disclaimers), and looking into either one only makes a person hate both more. Just remember Trump and Biden have both been asked to step down and they both selfishly said they would not budge for anything despite every poll showing that anybody but Harris could replace either of them and win, and they both specifically asked to be only ones allowed in a debate. They want you to only focus on the most selfish literal bottom of the barrel candidates.

It always amuses me when articles like this come out and pretend that Trump and Biden are held to the same standards. They appeal to different voters with different expectations. Thats something people who are trying to flip Bidens bad debate into ‘Hey Trump should drop out hes the real threat’ don’t or won’t realize. Sure you’re correct but his base LIKES the threat. YOU have to stop him and that’s why people are scared of doing nothing but continuing on with Biden. They have never had to play by the same rules and it’s honestly insulting hearing things framed like they are and we can’t figure that out ourselves.

because media is heavily invested in Trump winning. Thats why they are obsessing over every single perceived misstep and mistake Biden makes and giving an almost free pass to Trumps bullshit in comparison. Thats why you’ve not heard about what an absolute failure that moderator was, about any and all of the lies Trump said during the debate, or anything. all you hear is “BIDEN OLD, BIDEN QUIT!”

      Why?

Because the broadcast Media wants another Trump presidency. He drove massive viewership increases as everyone turned into the news every day to see what the latest fuckup, calamity, and embarassment he had done that day. I’d wager that there havent been as many eyes tuned into broadcast media during the Trump Presidency since 9/11. and they want that attention and viewership (and, most importantly, revenue from advertising) back more than anything.

its also why theres been bare minimal coverage, and often when it is covered, no credit is actually given, to all the improvements that have been made under biden. Biden has a huge list of wins, and no one knows about them.

And now we grasp at straws. Anything to avoid facing the reality of the situation.

He might have had a bad connection for a second. It would be more compelling if it had been, I don’t know, on the debate stage with 50 million people watching.

Everyone rightfully talks about how awful Trump is, but as soon as Biden does something like support a genocide or come across like a doddering old man in a debate, all of a sudden “Trump does it too” is apparently a defense.

Before someone jumps down my throat about the election being a choice between two people, it’s not. People might also hate both and not vote. Not saying it’s wise, just saying it’s possible.

They really are grasping at straws to keep Biden as the nominee. It is pathetic. Trump showed us he is old but still just a narcissist. Biden showed us that his team is a bunch of elder abusers.

He has a large majority of delegates. There is no way to force him out of the candidacy, he already won it.

The delegates don’t have to pick Biden. If it is clear doing so will result in a loss they likely wouldn’t. If Biden steps aside they won’t have have to either. The issue is the delegates were picked cause they are loyal to corporate Democrats so they are less likely to pick a candidate that would crush Trump like Bernie.

The delegates are bound to vote for Biden on the first ballot. They cannot just decide to vote for someone else. Where are you getting this?

They’re “getting this” from reality. Delegates are not legally bound to vote for whomever they’ve pledged to support from the primaries. It is strongly encouraged to do so, but whether they actually do is a matter of norms rather than an enforceable law. And a handful of delegates have voted other than their pledge numerous times in the past.

There’s nothing stopping delegates from deciding to vote for whoever they’d like. And if enough of them can be convinced to nominate someone other than Biden, that’s the actual nominee. Primaries don’t actually matter other than serving as a way to influence the national convention: who the delegates vote for at the national convention is all that matters, and they are not legally bound to their pledge.

For people who mock “both sides”-ism even when it isn’t present, democrats sure love to use “both sides” as a justification for overlooking Biden’s flaws.
