USE THEM

The only good thing about is that, with most companies, if you need a refund for something under $10, it generally just gives you the refund and sets you off on your merry way.

If you use corporate social media, be it TikTok, YouTube, FB, Twitter, or whatever, your feed is programmed to feed you content that will do two things:

1. Keep you perpetually angry
2. Convince you that everything you believe is correct, no matter how outlandish.

Politics achieves that for the largest number of people, therefore the algorithm is feeding that to you. It’ll keep most people clicking on ads.

Agreed.

I just wish we could get people to care as much about the wages they’re being paid as they do about people using slurs.

Man, I hate identity politics. It really has been an extremely useful tool to get the wealthy to divide us so that we won’t care about our own deliberate impoverishment.

At the same time, whenever someone is mean to my trans homies I want to punch them in the throat.

Respectfully, it’s not.

The user departures, and response to further enshittify, have driven their stock price into the ground.

That’s usually what I think too, but after watching how Twitter’s gone to shit since the two big user departures, I think this could legitimately affect Microsoft’s bottom line.
