If you don’t have money for the newspaper announcement or the bible, you don’t have money to raise a kid without government assistance…

I was raised on Government cheese, I wouldn’t be here today without it.

I don’t think it’s meant to “hide” it from the government. I think it’s meant to avoid using official government documents. This stems from the belief that your birth certificate is the government opening a trust in your ALL CAPS name.

I might be messing some of that up. I still haven’t figured out what combination of alcohol, drugs, sleep deprivation, or whatever is optimal for trying to make sense of their shit. But I promise you I’m committed to figuring out the alcohol/drug portion at least.

Maybe the reason the Republicans are trying to annihilate heat-related injury protection and precautions like water breaks in the red states is because the exact kind of mental state required to understand SovCit ablogic can only be attained via heat stroke.

Amazing how you can learn even from the rants of a crazy person. Never new family bibles where a thing until today.

It’s interesting how many of these posts have people claiming to have seen or heard of people doing it, but no one has actually seen someone who has successfully done it, and how. I’m sure it has nothing to do with the fact that it’s bullshit but rumours and legends still get passed around.

So you don’t get a birth certificate after birth if you don’t ask for it? In Germany, you can even request a new one since you’re in the system if you lose it or it gets destroyed. You have to pay a little fee but that’s all. Would anyone mind explaining this to me?

They gave birth at home instead of in a hospital. Which means that there’s probably no record of the child’s birth and they haven’t gone through the process that usually gets you a birth certificate. So they’re deciding whether to go start that process for their newborn or not.

If you have the child at home, then there is no auto-generated birth certificate. If you’re at a hospital then they’re probably going to document it, and whether or not you take the piece of paper, it’s in the system and can be printed out as needed.

That’s because the kid is registered with the Standesamt anyway. Those sovcits don’t want their kids to be registered with any government agency as they are afraid this would mean something nasty for them. So pregnant sovcits try to avoid doctors, hospitals, and even midwives to prevent anyone from registering the baby in official documentation. Which means they give birth at home without any kind of medical assistence. Which in turn usually means a high (double-digit percentage, actually) risk for the baby or mother to die, but that is a risk they are willing to take.

The reasons given for not wanting the baby to be registered are not really clear - something about a fortune the government would own to the people, but somehow having a birth certificate would allow to state to withhold the money or something like that.

The whole issue is not about the piece of paper titled “Certificate of Birth”, it is about being registered as “Citizen” with the name in ALL CAPS by a government entity. They consider themselves as “American Nationals” instead of “American Citizens”, because “Citizens” are people (“subjects”) who are “subjugated” to the government.

Does not make much sense to you? Don’t worry, it does not make sense at all.

The other core believe I seem to have figured out is that they think the government owns them money - loads of money! - when they are not “American Citizens” but “American Nationals”. That’s why you can regularly read about sovcits trying to pay off credit card debt, the fat new pickup, the mortgage, or child support with a mysterious “voucher” or silver coins.

So they can’t spare $80, but they decided to have a kid? Do they have any clue how much a kid will cost them?

What the hell is “…as to not be abandoning my child/child’s estate upon application” even supposed to mean? They managed to cram at least two irrational terms into a single clause. I mean I know these nut jobs don’t speak fucking English, clearly, but seriously what is this supposed to even mean?

If they can’t afford a small notice in the newspaper they definitely can’t afford a hotel room to steal the bible from!
