They all like tax cuts and deregulation. Trump is the one who’s promising that, whereas Biden promised and already delivered more of both to them all.

Is that enough to matter? And is this issue enough for them to change their vote, given the tax stuff? All the other shit Trump does certainly doesn’t matter.

I feel that everyone should resist the urge to act like psychics or psychologists right now. We know far too little at this point to speculate on this kids state of mind before or during the shooting.

As we learn more, perhaps that will change, but - and this is the terrible truth - we may never know. and we’re ALL going to have to learn to process and move on from this either way.

Voter apathy in the Democratic Party is what will kill it. There are far more liberals than there are conservatives, but about half of liberals just don’t vote. It’s ridiculous and incomprehensible.

Because we don’t have time for both. We have time for one thing now, and if we win the election, then we can address the rest afterward. Priorities, dude.

Don’t be selfish. Making sure that democracy defeats fascism is more important than whatever specific thing you have in mind right now. Because if we don’t do the first thing, we’ll all get stuffed gas chambers and ovens all no one will be left alive to care about the second thing.

I was a Bernie guy. I attended several rallies, and I even met the guy. Even he would tell you to get the fuck over it. I have my (massive) grievances about that. I don’t need to be lectured about that.

This isn’t about that.

This is about stopping Trump at any cost, and if you can’t see that, I’m not sure what to tell you. Because this isn’t about soothing 8-9 year-old woes, this is about defeating fascism before it defeats American democracy. If you’re going to quibble over past grievances and undermine a far more important fight in the present, then I have more important work to do than waste time whining about shit that happened in 2016.
